Dead City Tours was founded in late 2019 (in the before times) by tour guides committed to the art of storytelling and a shared passion of New Orleans. The idea was brewed up over one too many shots of Jameson after a long day of dealing with absent-minded bosses and early holiday tourists. Eager to begin telling stories in a more personable style, our team of well-versed guides got to work and then 2020 reared its head. Along with the rest of the world, we went into a dead sleep for the next year, and almost three years later, we’re back and more ready than ever. 

Our guides are hand-picked as some of the best tour guides in the city of New Orleans. While yes, they are licensed and registered, these aren’t your suspender-wearing, high-sock, stuffy guides of yesterday (Carolyn’s tube socks don’t count.)
